Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
- Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days from the date your item is delivered.
- If 14 days have passed since delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
- Because we specialize in genuine, original vintage cinema memorabilia, every item’s value is directly tied to its condition grade. To be eligible for a return, your item must be completely unaltered, undamaged, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
- It must also be returned securely in its original heavy-duty packaging (poster tubes or flat-packs).
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

How to Start a Return

- Do not send items back without contacting us first. To complete your return, please submit a request through our Contact Us page or email us at info@originalmovieposter.co.uk.
- Please provide your order number and proof of purchase.
Damaged in Transit (Postal Damage)
If your package arrives damaged by the courier:

- Take clear photos of the damaged outer packaging (tube or box) and the item before attempting to unroll or flatten it.
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with these photos attached so we can file an immediate claim with the courier.
Partial Refunds or Rejections
There are certain situations where only a partial refund is granted, or a refund is rejected entirely:

- Any item not in its original condition, or that has sustained new creases, edge tears, blunted corners, or surface scuffs not present when shipped.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
- Items damaged due to improper packing by the buyer during the return transit.
Refunds Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on its condition.
If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5 to 7 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your approved refund yet:

- Check your bank account or payment provider balance again.
- Contact your credit card company or bank; processing time can take several days before a refund officially posts.
- If you’ve completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please reach out to us at info@originalmovieposter.co.uk.
Shipping Your Return

- Return Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item if you changed your mind. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If we are covering a return due to an error on our part, we will provide a pre-paid tracked courier label.
- Tracking & Insurance Mandatory: Because original movie posters are high-value and irreplaceable collectibles, you must use a trackable shipping service and purchase full shipping insurance for the value of the item. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not liable for returns lost or damaged in transit by your chosen carrier.
